Euroairport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (18.09.2023)

There was a good mix of aircraft on display that day, with the highlight of course being the takeoff of the Antonov An-12 UR-CKL that landed the day before. The plane flew to Morocco with emergency equipment for earthquake relief there. In addition to some private jets, there were two ATR-72s from Fleet Air on display. These aircraft are flying with car parts to Spain because there are apparently delivery problems with Peugeot there.
The delay of one ATR-72 meant that it was late again that day, but I was able to film the extraordinary departure of Qatar Cargo. The Boeing 777-F took off from Taxiway Hotel instead of using the entire length of the runway. That's not a problem, our runway is long enough, but it is still very, very rare that a heavy gets permission to shorten the takeoff via Taxiway Hotel.

I won't be there on September 21st. I have an appointment. The A340-600 is HZ-SKY von Sky Prime She makes me angry, she should have left by now. I've been to the EAP 5 times and it hasn't taken off. Well the Antonovs are much better than this Airbus hairdryer 🤣🤣
