Hasnaat Ali this video has likely 10-12 man hours in it. So no. It takes a while to produce what I think of as quality content. I could easily upload weekly but it would be subpar work and editing that would not stand the test of time. These videos are intended to be technical and educational not just entertainment. Thank you for your compliment though, I wish I could upload every day.

Great Video Dude! I need think I'm going to to my front sublime reinforcement on car so well see how that goes lol.

Blake's Garage I would suggest getting a spare. Doing it then swapping. The level of pain in the ass it would be to do all this on your back in the grease in unfathomable. Not to mention how you’ll refinish it.

Are you spraying primer or degreaser on there after you ground everything down to bare metal? If it's primer, I'm surprised it will weld through that.

Where did you buy those bearing and trailing arm bushing puller from?
@ptazman1015 жыл бұрын
Nice, maybe you can powder coat them too! I saw some great vids on “home” powder coating in an oven, and a cheap powder coating gun and powder.

Will Johnson they’re epoxy Coated. Easier. Just as durable and it’s able to be touched up later.

Just ordered parts to do the same thing for my front subframe, but I want to weld the motor mount plates from the underside. How tight would it be trying to fit a tig torch in there?

How many amps did you need for the true coil over reinforcement?

unrelated but kind of related -> what size hardware did you use for your 3 piece wheel conversion? how much did you machine off the centers? you don't seem to answer questions on your old vids so thought you'd see this comment.

goupan its all in that series.

@@EuroGarageOfficial nah bro, i've watched every minute of that series no specs mentioned for bolts or how much you took off the centers. All good though, will figure it out

I believe it’s in there and that would be fresh in my mind. I don’t really remember and don’t want to tell you wrong. But I’m pretty sure its standard bbs rs hardware and 4mm off the back side to make that register.

why paint and then weld? not paint it after?

Colin Stuart weld through primer on the back of welded parts to avoid corrosion where the parts overlap.

Are you worried about the welds pulling your rear alignment/fitment out of spec? I understand you are using TIG instead of MIG which is much lower heat, just curious what your two cents is.
@EuroGarageOfficial5 жыл бұрын
Sam Gristina not that worried to be honest. Warping large parts like this with 3D geometry is not nearly as easy as warping a sheet of steel etc.
