Congratulations to Pao. As a Fener fan, reaching f4 was a success for this year’s Fener team. Itoudis era the team didn’t have any soul whatsoever but Saras brought back the soul. The team planning was done by Itoudis and Saras only got Noua, he wasn’t even in the roster tonight. The centers all three of them Sanli, Papayanni and Motley are similar players, none of them are deterring force in the paint. Point guard position is another story, other than Nick there is no true point guard in the team. Guduric and Wilbekin tried to fill that gap but that’s all they could. Both aren’t point guards. Anyways, despite all these problems Fener managed to see f4 after 4 years and I guess this deserves respect. next season Saras will make his own team and i hope we will see a more competitive Fener. Congratulations to Pao again, with Ataman they revived and already did a great job this season. Hope the best for all EL teams for next season.

@@canc.2335 Compared to Itoudis era, much better definitely. Team doesn’t have a proper center and no point guard options. Some people criticize Marko but he is not playing in his position. His real position is small forward and occasionally shooting guard but not point guard/play maker by any means. Hayes played n center in defense and turned to power forward in offense. Sestina as well tried to fill the gap in center position in defense. Wilbekin is a shooting guard and whenever he dribbles way too much, which he has to since he had to play no 1, he had 3-5 turnovers in each game just like Marko. These and many more issues were due to structure of the team, lack of point guards and sized center(s). What can a team without point guards and centers do? Use forwards and shooting guards and rely on three point shots. It worked in some games but against a good defensive team like Pao things didn’t go well. Tried 35 three pointers could only make 9..That explains everything.

Saras is a great regular season and playoffs coach. But when it comes to the Final Four, the guy just chokes. Overthinking and silly decisions cost Fener the game. Why in the world would you start with Motley, who has not played for months and start 0-12? The team made so much effort to come back and they were exhausted in Q4. Saras never learns from his previous Final Four experience. You can't afford to have a slow start in these games.

Congrats to PAO fans, well deserved. Worst coaching ever I saw as a Fenerbahce fan since 1990's. Never used main guns like Motley, Pierre, Dorsey despite the horrible play. Worst attacking Fenerbahce, as well as in Monaco series, luckily passed Monaco with Nick's buzzers in clutch time. Absolutely Itoudis would easily pass this Panathinaikos. Look at the play off series against Oly last year. I am really pissed off the coaching since Sarunas is here. Firing Itoudis in the middle of the season was a very stupid idea.

Yes, Ataman had very good tactics, to stop Feners offence. The three centers of Fener are not good and they need a second playmaker, someone like Campazzo.

Pedro, I don't know what makes u so uncivilized but it really works. Without Turks, there would be no Europe. Europeans are descendants of Eurasian steppes(guess who) in the bronze Age. Avar Turks played a huge role in shaping ethnic heritage of Eastern Europe. Same for Hun Turks, Khazarian Turks and Kuman Kipchak Turks... So many Europeans especially in Eastern Europe have originally Turkish roots but they lost their national identity. Turkey isn't a third world country but you were. You will never have history as we had. That's why you should overcome your inferiority complex and get a real life.
