It's been ten years since I first saw this video and it's still definitely the best Europe gig from Norum era TFC tour, if not the best Europe gig ever. They played extremely well on every night but this early tour date still has that extra fire going on, especially with the guitar solos.

Never seen Norum being so into it than here. He's the epitome of a cool guitarist. Also, Joey still manages to hit the high melody in the second prechorus in TFC, which he has later tended to avoid.

Unbelievable how much Joey's vocals improved in just 1 or 2 years. Big big difference compared to videos from 1985 or 1984... Cool upload by the way man, very nice and rare! Strange to see footage from TFC Tour where the crowd doesn't know any other songs from the album yet :-)

The Final Countdown Tour live in Sweden in DVD, when started Wings of Tomorow song, Norum changed his guitar to black guitar, but in this footage he doesn't change it. My question, is it the Wings of Tomorow song in DVD was from different date of this tour or the video was cutted by production when Norum change his guitat to black color?

EUROPE played two concerts at Solnahallen on May 25 and 26, 1986. Footage from both concerts were used for the Live in Sweden DVD, so that's why there's a sudden guitar change for Wings of Tomorrow.
