Great well documented details of the airline and the service in flight. So does Aegean fly to the USA like John F. Kennedy Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, New Jersey. Why did you choose Aegean as oppose to Ita Airlines? What was the fare roundtrip in dollars from Milan, Italy to Athens, Greece?

Thanks for your comment. No, Aegean is a European regional airline and does not fly to USA. I didn’t choose Aegean as oppose to ITA. There is no direct ITA flight between Milan and Athens, but only low-cost airlines. Fare I paid was around 90€ round trip. You can see the fare of this flight in the description.

Lovely made trip report, thanks for sharing your experience with us! 👍 However, despite the beautiful colours and design of their new cabin interior and the snack served, which is nice to have - I would much more appreciate it, if they would offer a decent legroom instead! My husband und I are both pretty tall, the legroom in this cabin is a pain and unacceptable. As it is on many low-cost carriers that we refuse to fly with - because! 😖👎

Thank you so much for your comment! Legroom was just a small issue actually, as the seat itself was comfy. I believe that the legroom in the fwd cabin is much wider that they reduced it too much in the aft cabin. Next time, we should all select the up front seats with a small extra.

I have been flying Aegean for years, however, the last time I flew was a horrible experience. Since I booked through a connecting airline, I was unable to reserve seats, so my wife and I were separated. When we asked to see if we could get seated together at check-in (note it was 3 hrs prior to departure) we were acosted for asking since I should have known it was a full flight and there was no seat changes and that I should have checked in earlier (was not possible through their app since I did book the tickets with a connecting airline) - top it all off, I was in a new A321 NEO and I swear they have that one even more crammed than the standard A320’s - my knee’s were jammed into the seat ahead of me and I am not that tall (178 cm) - the flight was from Thessaloniki to Duesseldorf. I have had better experiences with Ryanair...

You should ask Italian airlines why they don’t serve pizza on their flights, but you can get offered a pizza on Greek or even American or Middle Eastern airlines.

But the Italians airlines won't even serve pizza ,at least the 3 times I have flight with them never saw any pizza.

@ErisstheGoddessofmanhwas I believe it’s very hard to see a real pizza on an Italian airline, unless it’s a focaccia style with thick bread as I found on several airlines such as Qatar, Emirates or Aegean. Pizza is like a holy food for Italians and if it’s not perfectly cooked, they might refuse to eat it.
