Bringing together some of the most remote locations where existing depends on environmental conditions ….social housing experiments to stop the spread of urban development…a great insight for places that many didn’t know existed.

❤Reminds me of Nigeria's homes on the water, China, Ghana and other parts of Africa and Asia too. They just never looked as stunning. ❤Boat houses are in America though. Not so much to say floating...but they are all on the water. ❤

1:24:15 this is one of the I'll say dumbest statements I've heard in a while... So they say "the towers aren't very human places to live in because of the height" try and explain to 90% of NYC that their homes aren't very "human" places to live 🤣😂. In fact in NYC some of the most expensive places to live are the penthouse aka the top of the buildings....

NYC isn't a very humane place to live to most of us and the rents are horrendous

All good until a Tsunami comes by. Living in Japan has taught us that you don't want to be right on water level.

We're 3 meters below water level , but we also have our dams and protection against the sea, something Japan did not have

You should come to Sausalito, they’ve had floating homes for 60 years. My folks live on one.

What happens to plants, weeds and other greens that just show up on their own? I grow on my terrace and balcony, and know that even on the ninth floor, birds, wind etc drop new seeds. 😊

We have boathouses in seattle for a long time now but they are not as neat and tidy as this 😂 “when it’s stormy it’s exciting?” 😱 i am not that brave, maybe im getting old, but yeah that’s why i don’t live in boat houses!

Why do humans build below sea level, 🤔 mmm. New Orleans average 12ft below , major hurricane area? Ooh and London, massive flood barrier on the river Thames, oh and Miami fl, oh and Tampa fl, oh and how about building major cities on earthquake zones, Los Angeles, san Francisco, Seattle,.great ideas on paper 😊

To the documentary makers: it’s 2024, time to modernize. Dump the voice dubbing and use subtitles.
@davedebang-bang61686 ай бұрын
Its not dubbing it’s a voiceover and is used for the blind or partially sighted as they can’t see subtitles and can only listen, and for those who can’t actually read, For the deaf population who can’t hear the voiceover they have the option of selecting to have subtitles switched on
@diannamaree78544 күн бұрын
I prefer the voice over!
