Great video, so comprehensive!! Really makes me want to try something from Coffea Circulor. Don't want to deal with shipping from Europe, so will just have to keep my fingers crossed I come across a bag at a multi roaster.

Would be extremely surprised to see a multi-roaster carrying them, have never seen one do so before. Their shipping is pretty cheap relative to a lot of European roasters, but definitely understand avoiding it if needed.

I’ve only tried about half of the roasters on Part I but of the ones I’ve sampled the tier placement seems pretty similar to where I’d place them. I’m more familiar with the rest to come and I can definitely see world class a strong possibility for Manhattan and TW.

I bought the Kaffa Hacienda La Esmeralda Gesha coffee and it was truly the greatest coffee I both have brewed myself, but also tasted in general. Amazing.

Calendar has some INSANE kenyan coffees, absolutely try them if you can. Also another complaint about Coffea Circulor: their bags are horrid :0 but yay great job julian you rule bubba

You mentioned loving the April. Have you tried the Orea V3? Similar dripper, and my personal favourite right now!

Have not, but heard similar positive things about it. Might be something worth exploring as the kalita filters are so much easier to find

Also, Kalita filters (either 185 or 155) work well for the April in my experience

I would say with cc water is quite imp 15/5 -20/10 is the range you wanna be in cause the cup and qc with basically ro water

It's a lot of the reason I've felt some of the coffees I've worked with haven't been suited for the water we use. In those cases, there are some harder waters we do have to try to balance the rest of the coffee out.

Absolutely. I have something I'd suggest for everyone. Vereda WX Washed Colombia for the traditional coffee drinker. Keramo NX Natural Ethiopia for the natural fans. Halo WX Washed Ethiopia for the washed Ethiopia fans. Ruby Batian NX Natural Kenya for a vibrant Kenya fan. Outo SL34 Washed Kenya for the washed Kenya traditionalist.

Only had them once but they've had some very eye catching coffees over the last few months including an interesting sidra and mejorado/typica mejorada. They're definitely one of the more innovative roasters in the UK atm

@@CoffeeReviews I'm UK based and have been having a lot of Dark Arts recently, they have a very interesting Nector Lasso in atm. Have heard good things about Source, Plot and Crankhouse so looking to try them soon

Was surprised how many coffees they offer If you haven't checked out our suggestion/recommendation list, it might be worth looking at. That explains that. Their Buku Sayisa a few years ago was a real standout and I did note that it was a far bit more developed than I remembered/expected. Appreciate you confirming my suspicions

@@CoffeeReviews yeah, it was a real shame. Went from having my favorite coffee of all time there 2 years ago (an esmeralda natural gesha) to trying their esmeralda gesha and being thoroughly disappointed. Spend a lot of money thinking I didn't want to miss out on having multiple baga that year

maybe you need to use a different rating level, 'good' is already really good...I will definite rate April better than Sey or Passenger..

This is the biggest feedback I've heard on this tier list so far is April's placement. Feels like they might be slightly more divisive than I thought. When we reviewed them, we got some mixed responses with some claiming to love them and others being slightly underwhelmed. As mentioned, we'll be trying some more April soon so it's definitely possible for them to move up a bit. Appreciate the feedback on it! 🙂
