My Dad used to have a nightclub just outside of LA Metropolitan called The Crossbow Inn. Elvis used to come into the club and sneak through the back door and go upstairs to a separate little club from downstairs. He was dating the daughter of my Dad's business partner and they would have a separate table and bar service all to themselves.

Great job Mike!! Who would have thought they would have an Elvis Festival in Germany!! I don't think we have one in Los Angeles even and he lived here a number of years making movies... As a kid, he was the first celebrity I remember passing. I came home for lunch that summer day and it was all over the news. I watched for hours!

I am from Canada and I was at that same festival last week too! It was amazing!! I went with a friend of mine who is from England and she and I met in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis's birthplace, last Fall! Now we are bestie friends! So Elvis brought us together as well!

I have family that live in Bad Nauheim, Freiberg and Budigen (Mom was born there). My Mom and her American gf would chase military Elvis round town when they were teenagers. As a kid, I rode on a boat down the Rhein spitting cherry pits with my Mom into the water and looked at the castles as we motored by. Memories.

The only time I saw Elvis was at a concert in, Jackson, Mississippi. Elvis sang so beautifully and was a wonderful experience. Elvis demise hit fans hard and does his only daughter, Lisa Marie. Also, rest in peace Elvis, grandson. Peace be with you, FROM TEXAS

and they also have a lower highway speed limit than cars and I believe they also have to stay in the right lane.

@@eurofritz4617 yes, recommended speed (only on the autobahn) for cars is 130 km/h ( you can go faster but your insurance most likely wont pay it if you cause an accident) and for trucks it is 80 km/h. Trucks and cars have to stay in the right lane, left lane is only for overtaking. Some trucks are allowed to drive sundays with a special permission, e.g. trucks with dairy products or fresh veggies
