You're right about the song context, in fact, this plays over the scene in episode 8 when Lian tells Kuea that he has always loved him. The first time I saw this I too was shocked at NuNew's appearance and the kiss, lol.

This is one of my favorite songs from Cutie Pie, and I love Zee's voice so much! His voice particularly suits ballads. Thank you for reacting to this song, despite not feeling well! Hi thanks for your reaction and yes its a sad song its sort of the companion song to Nunews song How You Feel this from cutie pie soundtrack this song is Lian's song about his feelings for Kuea while Nunew's song is about Kuea's for Lian's.

These lyrics of the song are lians feelings. He also loved him but just couldn't say or express himself before. Remember the line he said in the club tht" I have never not loved you" those are lian words for kuea and it's used in the song as well. So yeah hope u understand
