I've loved playing ETT the past 3 years. Great to see the enthusiasm from the TT community. The standard now is crazy. The game has become more realistic and I know there's more to come, so 2024 is going to be spectacular. Congrats to Anto and everyone that took part.

Can someone explain to me what the point of this is? They got a stadium of spectators watching people play a video game, a great table setup, why not just play a regular real life match of Table tennis? What am I missing?

lol i don't really get it either and I love eleven table tennis. the point of eleven is striving for IRL realism and physics. so when you bring people together like this...why not just play real table tennis? :headscratch I'm guessing this is a novelty thing and they got Adam on board to commentate which is great PR. But yea...I'd imagine the top eleven table tennis players are ALSO decent table tennis players IRL...so I'm sure they'd probably prefer to just play IRL table tennis given they're in the same room...

@@templeislandriven Videogames have been doing in real life meetups where players compete against eachother for decades.. this is no different. It really is just a celebration of the game and its community, an opportunity for networking and an opportunity to put ETT in the public spotlight.
