This might be one of the most challenging missions in the game, because you need a lot of strategy to deal with the fact that you have so few units.

@@WarEmperor not the problem , i kill the guy easy , i kill troops that they remake easy too (ive got really good general like Belissarius with helepolis canon , demolishing the city) But first they keep instant putting troops in castles next the city , and everytime i break walls more than half , they fully regenerate instantly

Update : i managed to outpass constant regen by Caesar+Alfred and ridiculus amount of damage with Charlemagne and Roland with helepolis canon Now am on shit battle where i can't do anything because dev tought "lol would be fun to add shitty event instead of just letting an epic fight happen" With Charlemagne , on the bonus damage unit , special weapon +10 with the gems for putting another damage bonus on his troops , at a total of 136 on cavalry skill I did 36 damage 36 out of ONE unit that have 900 hp x 3 ONE unit on like 20 Fuck this game , im getting back on European War 4 , the 7 is a fucking scam that don't let you have fun

It's quite ridiculous that killing every last French soldier including the garrison at Calais is still not enough to beat the level. I don't know what it is to get low morale on that guy if he's already dead, but the ramparts still regenerate after he's dead. This may be an oversight on the developers. I needed to use Alfred the Great's Tunneling skill several times in one turn with the help of the Calmness skills of several other generals. I highly doubt this is the intended way to complete this level but I don't care at this point.

@@WarEmperor I did, but I can’t lower the morale of the garrison that is dead. The ramparts still regenerate even if no one is defending the city.

Where did I go wrong?,I can't destroy Calais castle's health bar even though I already captured 2 surrounding castles? and killed all the marked soldiers, I also took 3 fortresses around Calais but still can't destroy Calais. I don't know what the yellow markers on the sea are for.

You only guys have to destroy the health of the castles surrounding calais, only then calais will not be able to heal

Hello, thanks for the guide, I did almost everything perfectly, but some how the ally reinforcements keep moving to attack Calais, blocking 2 tiles around the city so I cannot attack it, also they only arrived at 2 out of 3 of the target tiles (the flagged tiles next to Calais's port), which means the game thinks the city is not "fully surrounded" and it keeps regenerating city health, is this a bug or a feature? Can you give any ideas, thank you :D

Well, I successfully surrounded the city but enemy general keeps recruiting new troops and I just can’t kill him in one go, not even close

You need to hurt their morale by conquering all the surrounding cities

@@WarEmperor I took over all the other cities and I still can't take the city. Is there some event that causes them to lose morale or city rampart to lose max durability? I have all the other cities and the objective city surrounded by turn 12 and by turn 20 I've only taken out 2 of his units (which he's replaced)

@@bl-ni1iu Besides the city you need to destroy the rescue mission led by Philip in the Southeast. you will see the Calais general morale will drop after that
