Fascinating. Three different companies - brewer, maker of cold brew device, canner. Nice video. I will try it when I encounter.

True, they do so man things. They are exhibiting at World of Coffee Milan this week (just in case you are nearby).

We have a few coffee shops and our nitro is very good. We still fill kegs and pour from a kegerator. Your shop is incredible, oh boy do I want production ability like hard beans.

I have tried it once in Coffeeshop in Hamburg. And I can't say I liked it. When I get home, I have found a half mug of coffee which I left on kitchen table from the morning. So I definitely was not very fresh, but it was cooled down and tasted a lot better. It may be that I just don't like cold brew coffee.

NITRO Coffee WOW
@Lost-Alkahestry2 жыл бұрын
The first time i had nitro cold brew i thought wow this is fucking amazing, tho the place i got it from no longer does nitro because back the beginning of 2018 it wasn't as popular. Its a place in Ontario Canada. Trebilcock Roasters. The owner was so ex tactic that someone enjoyed it as much as him i think i talked to him for about 3 hours about coffee lol

Beyond the 12 hour infusion, what is the purpose for adding liquid nitrogen at the canning stage?

Not sure if I missed it or not, what's up with the short wide glass?
@EuropeanCoffeeTrip2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sam, not sure what exactly you mean? There is not a specific thing about this glass - just something transparent so we can see the cascading effect of Nitro.
@GraniteStateSam2 жыл бұрын
@@EuropeanCoffeeTrip I know some beers have specific glassware to get the best flavors. I tend to use the tulip style pint glass to really show off the cascade effect. I was thinking the wide mouth shallow glass helped release the gas so it doesn't interfere with the flavor. I also haven't seen a drinking glass that short and wide, so I thought it was for a specific reason.
@EuropeanCoffeeTrip2 жыл бұрын
@@GraniteStateSam true, I think it has an effect - I think for Nitro coffee, taller glasses works a little better.

Is coffee being infused with liquid nitrogen for 12 hours and then liquid nitrogen is being included again during the canning process before being closed in order to push oxygen out of the can?

Nitro Flat White is also interesting :D

It is - also with an extra sugar kick it’s not bad (it’s more like a dessert but adds quite a lot of energy).

Are they selling in India
@EuropeanCoffeeTrip2 жыл бұрын
Good question; check out their website. I think it may not be very economical to ship to India (as it is still an early stage of production).

I was interested to try this until read the ingredients list, why so much chemistry? Have you considered a simple version, just coffee, oat milk and nitrogen.
@EuropeanCoffeeTrip2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! What are the ingredients you question? I think they stated with only coffee + oatmilk but had to add some extra supplements for various reason to make the recipe to taste right. The simple NITRO is just cold brew coffee + nitrogen (the flat white recipe is more complex).
@philclancaster2 жыл бұрын
Please forgive me if I sound negative, I really like what you are doing and I love the idea of a small company doing innovation. Yes, I was reading the ingredients for the flat white. It just that if I take a balanced vitamin supplement in the morning and several supplemented foods during the day it is easy to go beyond the recommended doses. I would prefer not to have supplemented foods. I wish you every success with your business it looks great. Bye the way - when you expand your range of flavours do consider Arabic style flavoured with cardamom or Indonesian flavoured with burnt clove, the tastes of traveling
@alespospisil2 жыл бұрын
@@philclancaster Good to hear, Phil. I hear your point which makes sense. I think they will keep developing recipes over time. It was quite fascinating to listen to them talk about it but it didn't make it to the video. Good idea about Arabic-style flavours.
