@HansWurst-lg1ws
@HansWurst-lg1ws 10 ай бұрын
Because ACs have been rather redundant until now. Most of Europe within the temperate climate zone has rather mild summers. Decent airflow and closed curtains to keep direct sunlight away was all it took to keep the home reasonably cool most of the time. But the last 2 years have been inching ever so closely to being unbearable for me during peak summer days (16th floor, east side windows flat, fml). Fans are only a band-aid solution for now that might very well change in the future. Also keep in mind that there probably isn't a single home in southern Europe (Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece .. ) without an AC either. They do exist here, I swear.

@@HansWurst-lg1ws Italian here. Most houses in northern Italy don't have AC and from my understanding, it's quite common not to have one. It wasn’t that wild for me to learn. I didn’t have an ac growing up either and I’m American. We just had this massive bigleaf maple next to our house that was as wide as I am tall. It would completely shade the house during the summer and kept it cool as a cucumber even when reaching the 100°F (around 38°C) mark. And during the winter we simply had a wood stove.

From what I'm able to generally tell, the legal immigrants who live here tend to appreciate the life it offers them. We're a country where someone can flee from a shit hole like North Korea, become a US citizen, establish a small mom-&-pop shop in town, and grow it into a several thousand dollar business. Hell, even here in New Mexico, there's a ton of really good places to eat established by people who've immigrated here, from Mexico to Hong Kong. I have no doubts they appreciate the opportunities this country has offered them.

Hello. I'd like you to know, this video was truly inspirational. The opening at 00:02 was sentimental to me, devolving into the true schematics of why being European is an issue; a bold statement. One the internet may fall, or run. As it continued, I slowly became more enthralled. A minute in, I felt eyes well up from tears- your linguistics are that of a master. A true phenomena. Talking about the dailies of American life and how we strive by the bird was something which can make any grown man cry, and this grown man did follow. At 1:55, I was given some serious flashbacks from my last visit to Tacobell. It was vivid, your words enlightened my imagination like spark to a firecracker. I felt myself fly, soar even, a delightful bewitchment. I now seek the end goal in life, as part of my bucket list, to visit every kind of Tacobell. I have got to catch them all. 2:00 in, you reminded me about the wonders of the American mind- how anything which stops the heart, must be all in one place. So neat. So tidy. So well done. It was an affirmation to the American cause; being freedom above all else. You spoke for all of us when you explained how crucial this is in the culture and how rare of a photograph you let us see. I can only thank you for that. At 2:28, you reminded me about strip malls- this bought me a rollercoaster of emotions. Horniness. Loneliness. Fear. I was terrified in those seconds by the way you spoke. The way you spoke about the 'strip' malls. It reminded me of my visit to the club just last week, when I got threatened at gunpoint for waiting outside for a girl who requested it. The hairs on the back of my neck sprung up from this remembrance of betrayal. The mention of Hell at 2:35 again thwarted my heart with fear, for my Christian mind is fragile to that word. Saying it again might kill me! I am sensitive. The Lamborghini at 3:02 awakened me to a past life- a past life where I lived free. Where I had cars. Where people loved me. I shed a tear. The mentions of Lovecraftian novels at 3:25 reminded me of my teenage days, when I dabbled in the dark arts.. It was a fun time, alas I turned to the lord and let it be no more. He would not smile on me for bringing the beast. Your comparison at 3:49 opened my eyes. I am an ant in this world. But, is it bad to be an ant? To play your part and live a life as the lord intended? God bless, it shouldn't be. We are all a unity. I will continue to watch this video in tears. God bless you, Kerote.

Tipping benefits literally everyone in the triangle, I don’t understand how euros don’t understand that concept. Also, I’m sure you don’t know this because why would you, but for a hot minute the news was filled with massive strikes on multiple industries by large and powerful private unions. My mind has always been boggled by euros thinking they can pass reasonable judgement on a country, with 50 different sets of laws and multiple cultural regions, of 337 million people without being a part of or properly understanding the culture

@@mcarrowtime7095 you know your doing the same passing judgment on all the Euros like this? Also I know about many different strikes that have happened in America. The biggest ones I know about are the writers and actors, and the auto workers. I've also heard about smaller ones in different states. Still, these existing doesn't mean that , for me, a baffling number of people still don't support unions or want to join/create one. Also the different union busting mechanics different companies use are crazy to me. All of the things I mentioned are things I've heard other Americans talk about happening in America and how they don't like it, or seen Americans do themselves. If you have a problem with what i said, you shouldn't have a problem with how Europeans think. You should have a problem with how Americans present America.

circumcising is done at a young age because doctors used to believe the baby wouldn't be effected by the procedure. HOWEVER, fast forward to now, we know FOR A FACT IT DOSE (it will literally send your infant child into shock) and may be a large cause of things like ADD, ADHD and many other mental issues faced by many, many males, including but not limited to: hard to control emotions, learning disablement and strait up mental disorders. the stress damage to the brain has been seen in infants that had the procedure done weeks AND MONTHS after it was preformed. leading to slower development as IT LITERALLY REPAIRS ITSELF from what was done. you live in modern times, where you take baths (at least i hope) every day. as long as your parents teach you correctly, you DO NOT NEED this procedure. if you want it done, it should be your choice as IT IS your body, not your parents and amount of miss informed doctors just saying to get it done "because its normal" is actually insane. the worst thing that can come about from NOT doing it (in todays world) is a hardening of the skin around the member, however this is combated with regular masturbation and use of lotion as you do. something that SHOULD be taught to you in your coming of age talk. (if you watched "house", you should know about this.) hope this helps someone, have a beautiful day.
