Europes FIRST 3.7 second Top Fuel run - Ida Zetterström & RF Motorsport

Ida Zetterström and the RF Motorsport team sets a new European ET record for Top Fuel dragsters while they also become the first European team to break into the 3.7 second zone with a 3.782 pass.
This was at the first round of the European championship at Santa Pod raceway, Main Event 2022

Just brilliant. Congratulations to Ida, Rune and all the crew that have put together yet another great team, that's delivered such a landmark run at The Pod. Thanks for visiting our shores and putting on such a great show. Good luck to you all with your future endeavours. It's such a shame that the top fuel field is so depleted this year, especially after it was so strong before covid shut everything down. With 9-10 competitors the future was looking really bright indeed. Hopefully the field will strengthen again over the next few years with teams being able to secure the sponsorships they need to race.

Thank you! We have a great team spirit and work very well together and that makes it really sweet. It is a shame that the class is so small this year, we are definitely still swinging for the fences and trying to put on a great show for the spectators and I'm hoping the car count will come back up soon, the sport needs it. Thank you

What was the speed?

quite low for the ET, 301.92 mph. Blower belt snapped just befor finish line and it brought the speed down
