João racing with his heart! The team isnt there today, otherwise he goes with the trio. He lost to Kelderman/Hindley but gained time to Nibali, Majka, Bilbao, Pozzovivo, etc. Kelderman is the favourite, but João are showing the world he's there to win the Giro.

Another day in pink 💗 and white ⚪ (our blue is gone but only for today) What a ride by João. He showed that he is capable of doing great things in the mountains. Defeating Sunweb and Wilco is almost impossible but I believe in João and DQS. Rest well tomorrow!

The experience vs the lack of a real supportive team, even though João Almeida kept the pink jersey. Bravery and mental strength almost overcoming the human power of the young leader.

Thomas crashed wouldnt say he flopped Bernal yes he flopped i wonder if he will ever win a 2nd grand tour Ineos looked like the best team this year all in all and they are they could have won a lot more stages if they hadnt tried for bernal at the tour

Pretty sure Carapaz could step on the podium at the Vuelta. And Hindley looks too strong imo as he only is a domestique to Kelderman and still got 3rd on the stage.

@@baribarbart594 oh yes defenetly but its hard to ride for a guy if he blows up really fast but looking at ineos in the later stages them winning stuff without any problems i think showed what they would habe been cabable of if they had driven for lets say carapaz at the tour who looked way stronger

It's really exciting as an Irish cycling fan at the moment 🇮🇪🍀 Obviously Bennett bossed the Tour, and then here Tay O'Geoghegan-Hart comes from nowhere to beat the best climbers in the Giro. Wilc O'Kelderman looks primed to take the Maglia Rosa which is madness, and Phillip O'Ganna has won three stages here, looks to be one of the form riders in the world. Madness, could be a Kelly-Yates style era for us 🍀🍀
