The best came on the end. The on-court interview. "Q: What did you think after being 0:2 sets down? A: I know you will not like it, but I thought what would Novak do..." The biggest possible respect you can show. And it clearly shows that Medvedev is a smart guy. He knows the difference between sporty competition and politics. Both player delivered a fabulous performance. FAA missed a couple of chances too much and got a little bit tired in the fifth set (which is totally normal). But he now has the confidence that he is on level with the best. More to come soon.

Augier-Aliassime threw everything at him, and still Medvedev found a way through. I love what I see in the video. There have been matches in where Daniil hasn't had the confidence or the will to come back after being down. But now, with this match and with his way of playing, I think that he is ready to rule the tennis world when the Big 3 retire. He has made the jump. Let's see if other players like Zverev, Thiem, Shapovalov or Augier-Aliassime can follow him.

Medvedev is so fast on the court, once he is in the zone, he is so smart and rurthless, I love that player. Many people predict Sinner as a future grand slam champion but I find him quite slow on the court. His game is focused on hitting hard from the center of the court and creating angles, but as soon as he has to move to the sides, he is pretty slow to get to the ball.
