Sinner is the most scary player on tour at the moment. He can do no wrong, and his balance is impeccable. His level of fitness is also insane. Whoever gains, I was going to have a bittersweet happiness in the end of this final clash. My two favorite tennis competitors have played against each other. One side was going to become the winner, one side was going to be the loser. Zverev has compelled the frontiers and boundaries on the court, fighting till the end for each point but Sinner has contended far more intrepid and valorous in each portion of the appearance. World no.1 was all over the pitch. Italian tennis player has enhanced his alignment and compliance with his squad in recent period, watching such a well-rounded tennis competitor entirely makes me a gorgeous impact with his stable performance. Sinner is entirely in a more different level. Huge congratulations to Forza Jannik Sinner for attaining the second AO title and third grand slam championship of your career, becoming the long-term reigning champion in AO.

Funny how people talk about Zverev as if he was cursed for losing 3 Grand Slam Finals in a row when Murray also lost 3 times before finally winning his first. What Zverev needs is just keep going and consistently getting to Finals and his time will come. Having Federer, Djokovic and Nadal winning above 50/60% of their finals doesn’t mean it standard for everybody. People are so quick judging today.

As an Alcaraz fan, and someone who likes Zverev more and more, I would have loved him to win. So I'm also NOT a triggered Nole fan, and also NOT a troll who writes under every video that Sinner doped. I watched almost the whole match live and Sinner deserved to win, Zverev just didn't play very well: I think it's most likely down to mental issues. For me it has nothing to do with choking or anything like that. Was the match dramatic? No - some very good rallies, not a single drop shot from Zverev (felt). Not much emotion from Sinner (maybe that's what sets him apart), Zverev was different. Drama and more action/fun for me as a spectator would certainly have been provided by Alcaraz, but possibly also by Nole.

100% it's his skill and athleticism that's winning him everything, nothing to do with doping. That being said, I don't like the completely unfair treatment he's received compared to other players just because he's at the top of the game. Get caught with certain substances in your body, intentional or not and regardless of the amount, it's a ban. If you don't enforce that, where are the lines drawn?

I don’t understand really understand how people can think sinners play style is boring. He completely en utterly overpowers his opponents and puts so much pressure on them till they collapse. Add a few dropshots here and there and the occasional closing in the net to end a point with a smash. Not to forget the ridiculously powerful winners and that’s why I find is playstyle not boring at all. Why do you feel that it’s boring to the eye?

To sum up the performances of this Italian tennis alien: There's no one at the moment, except maybe Carlos on a good day who can beat him. And it isn't that Sasha lost the final because he played so bad. He played actually really well, especially in the 2nd set where he almost won it. Don't blame yourself to much Sasha, you will get your chance and lift that trophy one day. You had an opponent who is playing like a machine over the last 12 to 15 months and outplaying everyone at the moment.

What is scary to me is that Jannik who is only 23 is way better than Djoko ever was at the same age, and even better tennistically and physically at any point during his illustrious career. We all need to pray Jannik remains healthy because otherwise we might be frustrated that we have the feeling the GOAT in longevity is not the actual GOAT in tennis quality.

Trying to bring someone down based on their physical appearance? What age are you? 10? I’d stop doing that immediately if I were you. It’s unkind, immature, weak and smacks of jealousy. Women in particular despise it. Sinner’s girlfriend does not share your sentiment at all and she could have any man she wants. You should be so happy for Sinner! Grow up fast and aspire to be better or you’ll be left behind.

Honestly didn't expect Zverev to loose in 3 sets, should have been a longer final, if Zverev had his best game left for today! He had the advantage of not having to finish the semi-final against Djokovic. But Jannik was unbreakable physically and mentally today!😤💪🧠 Zverev lost focus and hope in the 1st set, after that it wasn't really an even fight, even with the tie-break, because of way too many unforced errors. Congrats to Sinner for his 3rd Grand Slam!!🎉👏🇮🇹

I'll be fascinated to see if Sinner can with the FO or Wimbledon. Hard court abilities clearly not in question, best on the surface no doubt. But clay and grass are different beasts. Perhaps he can bag one of the clay M1000s. He's been in 24 ATP finals so far and 22 of them have been on hard court.
@caccolo7369
@caccolo7369 8 күн бұрын
Yes, but last year he won on grass (Halle, ATP 500), and in 2022 he won a 250 on clay (against Alcaraz in Umag). He has the capabilities ( he already reached SF at both Roland Garros and Wimbledon and Montecarlo too)., surely he has to have an untroubled season to prepare for spring clay in Europe. Apparently he will play in Munich, Madrid, Rome and Paris. So he should have a week more than last year after Miami. But then we shall know about the wada appeal (hearing is 16th april) during Munich (so he will probably end skipping Munich) or immediately after.
@WillSavage
@WillSavage 8 күн бұрын
@@caccolo7369 I think he is much better placed this year to win FO or Wimbledon as you say and it would not surprise me at all if he wins both. Although yes, indeed, I think the WADA hearing will be crucial and will determine if he is even given then chance. If he is banned then it would appear he won't return until at least 2026, which would be a shame in my opinion (but I am no expert on the matter).

I was seriously rooting for Zverev today. No doubt Sinner is the best tennis player on planet right now but he’s also the most boring player on earth. No emotion, no reaction at all. Very boring. I think Zverev needs more shots in his armoury. Dropshot, slice, under arm serve even...but players that can live with his pace have nothing to fear. And Sinner and Alcaraz can hit at full stretch such powerful passing shots when they are forced out wide; it is a match -winner. And, though I feel bad saying it, does having Dad courtside really help? It must add so much pressure because Sacha wants it so badly for him ! I remember Sacha beating Federer at O2...has his game lost something since then ? He must be hoping Sinner gets banned !
