Hmm? I listen to the whole interview to get Carlos take on the blown call at a critical moment in the match. I guess they must have been instructed that question is off limits. I wanted to see if he believes that hawkeye should have been used. You really have no idea how that could have impacted the last set. It drives me crazy that this is the only major tournament that refuses to use it. Carlos is phenomenal, no doubt, and probably wins the match anyway. But why not make sure the calls are correct. Both players work incredibly hard to get to the final, it's just unfortunate. Hoping they change that in the future!!

@usermatisse3 ай бұрын
@@pauljohnson6019 naah that one will be won by Sinner. It was clear at the RG, with a sinner at 70% because coming from 3 weeks of 0 training because of the hip issue he manage to bring Alcaraz on his fav surface to 5th set and to risk to win in 3 or 4. True that also Alcaraz had an issue to his arm, but he trained the rest of the body in those 4 weeks, while Sinner had a complete stop from doctors because of the hip and because of an influenza, so basically he lost 3kg of muscle mass. Of course we'll never know how would have gone with Sinner not coming back from an injury, but if you watched the semi, it was pretty clear that physically Sinner wasn't ok (like for example in Australia) from 4th set onwards, which is for sure due to the injury he got through. Without that he would have served much better and well, maybe he would have lost anyway, but it would have been much tighter. Anyway, Alcaraz is so talented, it would be if they win 2 slams each this year

@@brendajohnson5525 it is difficult, very difficult to defend a title two times in a row, statistically speaking as well.
