No it's because they have their microphones turned up too loud I think,I've been to lots of venues and you don't hear that noise as loud.

@@thelyingscotsman7993 I suspect you are partly correct the room being small and the vent in room being near to the microphone will pick up any noise from the A/C system in the snooker room they not hear it as bad . Yes there are a lot of poorly maintained units around.

Williams probably was feeling to good after Champion of champions victory. I would put Williams as an outsider for Sheffield. Ronnie is more worrying. He is just off.

The playing standards at this champ have been disappointing so far. Last year there were 60 centuries in the final stage, and this year, half of the tournament is already behind us and there are only 12 centuries. In addition to this, there was already a whole bunch of frankly bad matches. Not even that, so far there has only been one good match. None of the best players performed well in the first round, and half of them are already out. I hope the remaining players will pull themselves together and show good snooker in the next rounds. Because so far, everything except Zhang’s maximum and Selby - Lisowski match was simply embarrassing to watch.

Bingham did apparently bet on other matches a few years ago as well as his OWN I read.He did get off lightly pleading he was unaware he was not allowed to do this.This put me off him as in my opinion he would definitely have known .
