Eurovelo 6 - Passau - Wien

I stitched my Eurovelo 6 videos together and re-uploaded them in 4K quality!
This is the complete tour, from Passau to Wien, on the Danube bicyclepath. One long video, instead of four short one. Enjoy!

I did this ride in 2021 and this last September with some buddies of mine. We stayed in many of the villages that you did. It was such a peaceful ride. The people were so friendly and the food and beer was amazing. I'm sure I'll do this ride many more times. God bless from Northern California USA

Mein Leben. Ich versuche mein Leben so gut wie normal zu gestalten. Bin schon seit über 10 Jahren nach einem schweren Schlaganfall auf rechter Seite gelähmt. Kann seit dem weder sprechen noch schreiben. Mein Leben zuvor habe ich sehr künstlerisch gestaltet. Holzschnittartig, Maler und Kunsttischler, das sind meine Tätigkeiten vor der Krankheit. Mit meinen Videos möchte ich anderen Leuten in gleicher Situation Mut verleiten zum weiter das Leben leben.

i always confuse with traffic system in Austria... i thought we can not ride bicycle on the motr road...that is why i am very reluctant to ride on the motor road.. but from your video in the beginning ... i saw u r riding on the country road.... normally.. i just the bike road cross the forest. Thanks for the new information ... and thanks for sharing ur lovely video

Really enjoyed your tour down the Donau..Question, what model Garmin were you using and your thoughts on how well it worked, also noticed the paper maps, which one did you use please.. Many Thanks and hope to be able to do the same trip in the near future

Thanks for reminding me of this video clip. I haven't watched it in a while. I was watching it again, to see which paper maps you meant. It was such a beautifull trip. You mean the paper map, which can be seen in the picnic scene with the cat, right? It is "Donau-Radweg 2, Passau - Wien". It is from Publicpress (www.publicpress.de). The map is waterproof and leporello fold. I still love maps, despite also using gps. My Garmin is the Edge Touring. I bought it 2016. I still use it on all my bicycle tours. I am surprised, that, after 6 years, the in-built battery still lasts an average day tour. Only on one of the tours I did last year I had to give the Garmin a little extra charge from a power bank. @@Alpintiger Thanks for the reply... I was planning this trip about 2 years ago but due to the current situation could not get out of Australia, I have already completed the French Eurovelo 6 stages and wanted to come back and get to Budapest but I will have to wait and see how things pan out..
