Awesome. Ibland sätter sig en låt så här efter tiotals år och man måste lyssna sönder den för att bli fri. EN: This is clearly better than the studio version, such intensity. I remember when it came out but now after 34 years I happened to hear it on the car radio and had to look it up and suddenly have listened to it dozens of times. Awesome. I think some of them weren't really used to "only" being backing singers, especially Tommy Ekman from the synth/disco pop trio Style (the blond guy furthest to the left) and soul rocker Jerry Williams (the relatively old man in the middle) were some of the biggest pop/rock acts in Sweden throughout the 80s, in Jerry Williams' case all the way since the early 60s. Vicki Benckert, furthest to the right, was probably the most experienced as backing vocalist, for example she was part of Roxette's touring band and also sang additional vocals on some of their studio albums.

I'm absolutely sure they had all rehearsed. They are not an ESC choir but hand-picked artists brought to the finale from the competing country. Yugoslavia's winning song is almost always classed as one of the worst winning songs in the contests history but its not that bad at all actually. IMO, there have been plenty of terrible winning songs since - Sweden 1991, Estonia 2001, Latvia 2002, Portugal 2017, Israel 2018 and Ukraine 2022.
