Hi Jordan, me and my friend watched Ana togaether foe the first performance. I told him how yoy liked her last and I did too after her Home Performance version of Albania 2012. So I had high hopes for this one and Wow! I was not disappointed, until now I had Lithuania at number one (knowing there's a lot more to come) now I can safely say there are two songs in contention. Amen will be in the final and give Sovenia its best ever result and could win!!!.

Yes!, I’m so happy for Ana.This song was a good choice and ranks also in my Top 3 for now. Ana has charisma and a great voice, so she doesn’t have to do silly dance moves to grab someone’s attention (The Roop are doing it right though). I’m glad that the ESC is still a place for quality - at least sometimes.

It is not a typical Slovene song, but still - the lyrics is beautiful and more people will understand - last year, as if nobody was listening to the song, they were all talking about what VODA is. It was a little strange. After that - came the music.

Amen was written by Ana Soklič, Žiga Pirnat and Bojan Simončič, and in addition to Ana Soklič and Žiga Pirnat (who is also responsible for the arrangement), Charlie Mason participated in writing the text. Producer Žiga Pirnat formed the choir around Dorian Holley(a vocalist who has toured extensively with the likes of Michael Jackson) The backing choir of vocalists was recorded at EastWest Studios in Hollywood and Tony Maserati also worked on the song

You were quick off the mark with this one Jordan :) I think Slovenia have really studied recent contests in creating this. This absolutely follows on from Tamara's Proud of 2019 (even down to the "Hey Child" opening line). Let's not forget - that went on to win the jury vote. The gospel choir is the absolute icing on the cake with this one. Top 10, surely? Absolutely!

I love Ana. In fact, both Voda and Looking Back were the two most underrated entries last year. But I think while this song is amazing, it's a downgrade from Voda and it's missing something that makes is stand out in a contest, I also think we might have seen this done a few times, Voda had something very original about it. Idk. I would love to see it in the final cause ana is AMAZING and Slovenia is always underrated but I don't know what's gonna happen.

Mark my words, this could be a real jury favourite. Some people are going to say this doesn't stand a chance, people said the same about North Macedonia 2019. Honestly English was a smart idea in regards to scoring well with juries, and I think it could have more televote support than expected. It's also the only proper ballad in semi final 1 so far which is an extreme advantage in an almost completely upbeat semi

Sampled vocals are not allowed in Eurovision. Croatia 1999 (take a look) had the same issue. After ending 4th she got some deductible points and ended 7th in total.

Voda last year shot to my like 30th to 7th, this one is in current 2nd (because this is NOT my genre of music and Ukraine is), it's just passed Finland for me, and it'll be in my top 5 (Switzerland, Russia and Georgia to come for me still) and of course, Italy. Honestly I hate hate hate belters, from Céline Dion onwards, didn't like Molitva, HATED rise like a phoenix, so what does it say about Ana that I love her? Sweden is going to look so tacky and cheap compared to this.
