To be fair not all controversies are the fault of the organising broadcaster. Plus, the mic was working incorrectly 50% of the time (even 2022 was better on that side).😅

Slovenia and Uk deserved so much better, like i still listen to those songs till this day, their performances and stage presence were so fun and soo good, they were so robbed especially Mae, she was the queen of attitude last year 💅❤

UK was and is still my fav song but , live vocals were not existend on final , so well desereved bottom placement , i will never understand how they manage to have sound or microphone issues while have rehearesed so many times XD why nobody said she should have the mic closer to her mouth or something , the track was so freaking loud , and she had zero energie or so it seemed while overwhelmed by the production.... with olly this year similar ,not that obvious but ,similar vocal weakness

Speaking as a Brit, I have to ask… what is it you liked so much about the UK's entry? The studio version of the song is fine, but I felt like Mae Muller spent most of the live performance speaking it rather than singing it.

Personaly is the best song that Uk have send to the contest and one of my favourite of this year. I am listening to it until today! And i am from Greece! Definitly deserved top 5!

While I think 2024 is one of if not the strongest esc years I think 2023 will always be my favourite (alongside 2016) because I followed everything so closely and studied everything I could even though there was no real political controversies. Tbh I’m not 100% sure why 2023 has such a special place in my heart seeing as I’ve been following everything that has to do with esc since 2012, there’s just something so special about last year
