That wasn't fake applause at 4:47. I was inside at the arena, at that moment people started cheering and applauding Olly who had just received 0 points. Once people noticed it was Israel's turn, then they started booing... which you could clearly hear on TV.

This video among others precisely proves more than ever how important it is for Israel to exist as an independent nation for Jews alongside Israeli Arabs who are also proud to be citizens, serve in the Israeli army, and therefore are also represented at Eurovision BTW. I have zero sympathy for Eden Golan.
