I am from Croatia, and I think being 23rd in line is a disadvantage. Don't forget that starting this year, voting takes place before the show begins, and people will vote as soon as they hear a good song. So, I believe that being at the beginning is actually an advantage now.

The tricky thing with that would be the set pieces for the staging. The performances weren't so elaborate back in the day so the producers didn't have to worry about getting them on and off the stage in a timely manner.

The EBU need to make their mind up and have Producer’s Choice for the whole running order or none of it. This mixed system just disadvantages the few countries who actually draw a certain half.

We have BL, showing how to treat another human being, an ordinary guy , wrote and composed the song, shoved that you can be normal human being, loved by so many people, and still with both feet on the ground. About Slimane performance, when he "slices", the camera is moving following his movements. Also when the camera spins, he is walking back and a mic stand is brought on stage so he can leave the mic there to step back even more for the acapella part so the camera spinning is in fact meaningful/useful

Giving Full attention to all the songs is not easy, there is so much entertainment up to song 20 people maybe just willing to just get to the results, from Sweden to Cyprus it's Jammed packed with entertainment and plenty of surprise and even controversy the winner could come from early on too. People may vote early as plenty great ones in that list remaining 6 are like a bonus.

Imagine the scenes and this situation. We have great host country and city, good broadcaster and decent quality of the songs. We have microstate country comeback which could encourage another small countries to participate again, we have Balkan country potentially winning first time as independent country and encouraging other Balkan countries coming back. Right before final we are in the middle of farce where one participant is probably banned from final, happiness and joy has disappeared, we are about have probably most political conflicting winner ever, EBU has manipulated running order for some countries advantage/disadvantage and people are praying juries (who "stole" winner) to prevent a certain country not win. What a time to be alive, worst Eurovision ever i don´t what is going to happen in saturday´s final, can we even make it through till end and winner reprise?...

I know, I watched this to see if they thought Olly got a good position, because this is my first Eurovision experience and I don't know what is generally favorable in the running order. Then they totally skipped over talking about the UK. I would assume going last in the first group is a very good spot, especially if there's a break in between for people to digest and buzz about his performance. No matter what I'm supporting him because I'm a huge fan and he's the reason I'm watching this year. But of course I've fallen in love with many of the other acts as well (Ireland, Switzerland, Ukraine, Lithuania, etc.)

Look, you need to update yourselves!!! Recently, we now have 2 breaks, after #8 (Spain) and #16 (Serbia)!! Ok, analizing this from the point of EBU fixing the results is unreasonable. Why woud EBU want to fix the results? Why would they place anybody to help their results? Or to ruin their results? Who cares about the odds? Serbia got in the final from the death spot. It must be because of the song itself. If people really like the song and want to vote for it they will do it no matter the spot. Especially now when you can vote right from the begining. I will vote tonight from the rest of the world as I already have my favourites. How about focusing only on music? The song relation to each other? The flow of the show? The production? Playing the devil’s advocate, I think this type of reaction is what creates the feeling of corruption behind the scene. There may be some, but I don’t think the whole production is corrupted. However, love watching you guys, you are great!
