If it involves the police, the situation has nothing to do with the ebu or the contest anymore. It’s down to Swedish law enforcement, and nothing can be done before the investigation concludes. It’s sad and disappointing, but when in Sweden people have to uphold Swedish law.

Ukraine usually does better with the public than juries. This time, Ukraine chose an entry that should broadly appeal to both, but my feeling is that jurors are conscious of the fact that another Ukraine win would cause more people to question the integrity of the contest (attributing a high score to politics) and will therefore underrate it. I hope I'm wrong, cos the song and staging really are top-class!

Statement in English We have taken note of the disqualification by the EBU. AVROTROS finds the disqualification disproportionate and is shocked by the decision. We deeply regret this. An incident occurred after last Thursday's performance. Against clearly made agreements, Joost was filmed when he had just gotten off stage and had to rush to the greenroom. At that moment, Joost repeatedly indicated that he did not want to be filmed. This wasn’t respected. This led to a threatening movement from Joost towards the camera. Joost did not touch the camera woman. This incident was reported, followed by an investigation by the EBU and police. Yesterday and today we consulted extensively with the EBU and proposed several solutions. Nevertheless, the EBU has still decided to disqualify Joost Klein. AVROTROS finds the penalty very heavy and disproportionate. We stand for good manners -let there be no misunderstanding about that- but in our view, an exclusion order is not proportional to this incident. We are very disappointed and upset for the millions of fans who were so excited for tonight. What Joost brought to the Netherlands and Europe shouldn’t have ended this way.

Since it all started 3 months ago, BL has been the favorite, only the songs that tried to dethrone him have changed. Ukraine, France, Italy, then Europapa appeared, then Nemo, then Ireland and finally Israel came. You tried everything, from insinuating plagiarism, that he can't sing, that he's not good...but BL remained constant. And in all of that, he remained the same humble, decent boy from a small town in Croatia. No matter how it ends tomorrow, he won for us. 😻🇭🇷♥️

My opinion about the jury votes: 1. Switzerland - Nemo is beyond everyone, almost 100% of winning the juries. The most gifted guy in terms of vocals. 2. Ukraine - absolutely flawless vocals, very eurovision epic staging, catchy song. 3. Israel - we have just to agree that the song is probably the best and vocals are too. However, her live performance is not that flawless like ukrainian for example. 4 or 5. Croatia - flawless vocals, but the song is not really about vocals. It's the same tembro of the voice for the whole song. No way it could win the juries. However, it is still very good. 4 or 5. Portugal - this is just very very strong.

Joost ruined it for himself with his bad attitude. Acting as if he is THE "Superstar of the world" during the interviews for the advanced acts, interrupting everyone else and jumping up with his flag calling antisemitistic stuff when Eden Golan was asked questions is a horrible attitude. Even if the staging isn't that good, the juries don't mind it too much. It's what the public looks at. Expect for rare cases like Ukraine who'll definitely get good points out of that stage alone.
