I could see very brief glimpses of them during the semi-final, but so brief I wasn't sure if they were camera men or someone else, but I could see it was people dressed in black. when I first saw an audience view from the rehearsal, I knew it was those two guys I had seen. The final was flawless, didn't see any glimpses at all.

Its really smart (swiss) engineering: only the axis-lock and the servo motor for the 360 degree spinning is electric. everything else is man powered and just physics. Otherwise you would need a fairly powerful motor to create the trampoline effect, for example, and you would have one more source of error, which could also be very dangerous in the event of a malfunction.

@@vetschoni Thank you. Yeah I totally see that you wouldn't want the jump part to be automatic. Also really clever to make it so that you need the weight of two people to move it, so that there's no danger of Nemo shifting it unintentionally.

​@@ann18o96 Exactly. And I think they built the spinner so that if it's unpowered, the axis will lock, and only when it's powered will it unlock. So even in the event of a complete malfunction, the spinner would just not move its axis, and Nemo wouldn't be hurt. Greetings from Zürich by the way. ;)

i’m still reeling over this performance. The vocals, the instrumentals, the lyrics… but also props to the stage designers, the lights designers, the camera crew, and those hooded figures running around moving the platform. The result is flawless, nothing too complicate yet visually stunning. it’s one thing to see it as they intended it, and another to see the behind the scenes. it makes it even more amazing. i can’t stop listening to this song, and watching the performance.

Looking at this performance in this way (rather than the broadcast) I feel like the appeal of it was that they addressed the entire arena through the choices made in the performance. They could have just sung the song in the standard way where they’re always facing straight down the middle of the arena, but because of the spinning disc they literally faced every single person in the arena. Completely brilliant performance.

Also, both artists put in an equal amount of effort into songwriting and performing, let alone the amount of stress they both have gone through. finally, Eurovision definitely would not have been hated if they didn’t win, as every possible winner equally deserved it. But I believe Nemo deserved to win just as much as Baby Lasanga, as Eurovision always gets hated.
