Well, Italy will always be among my favorites because their songs are generally very melodious. This year reminds me of the style of Marco Mengoni - L'essenziale 2013, for me, one of Eurovision's best male gestural interpretations, and he didn't need anything in the setting scene: he alone did everything.

So far my favourite entry this year. Quite a few people (mostly those who dislike ballads :) ) trash it and predict a flop, but the odds speak otherwise at the moment... As for the staging - be sure to check out his Sanremo live performance. I think the song gets even better live, and the simple staging used there is all that's needed to achieve some simple yet still very engaging beauty. :) Edit: apparently the broadcaster already took the live version down, but you can still see it in every other reaction video out there :)

the ballad's melodic lines are typically italian, but Diodato never hid his love for Radiohead... The song is about an emotional mourning and the way a man deals with the thoughts and inner silences after the loss.

In my opinion there is something from Coldplay, too

No fireworks, no dancers. Him alone on the stage, some nice lights, very intimate but also powerful

I hope he will perform the song like he did at Sanremo. I think without a band, but maybe with one female dancer like in his music video

The song is very well constructed, at the beginning there is an inner fight ( rumore ) because the author refuses to accept the abscence of the other , but at the end as he accepts this absence , this fight becomes a delicious memory. There is a beautiful film ( but very hard to view ) that explains this human phenomenon. " Jacob’s Ladder" During the film the main actor fights his demons, but when he accepts the reality at the end of the film, these demons turn into angels. The song is psychologically perfect. Everything is perfect, there are only those who do not understand the human soul who criticize.There are no fireworks, it’s true, it’s a walk, it’s also true, it’s not made to put you in the spotlight, it’s made to tell an event in a perfect way and universal

The song talks about loss for someone you love. When you miss someone so much the silence makes noise (rumore) in your heart.

DIODATO FOR EVER / GOD GIVEN- HIS VOICE IS WIDE , IMMENSE.. WELL DONE!!!!
@donatellaborciccibelloni53284 жыл бұрын
about the video, after analyzing different interpretatons, I've come to the conclusion that when he sings "You make noise" he does it to his feminine part. the woman you see in the video is his ego and what he deeply hopes to become one day. The final reunion, after the many contact refusals is symbolizing his final choice. Orange and blue are the archaic symbols of femininity and masculinity. If you read it this way, the video will be much clearer. The final embrace embodies both colours.

The text is said to be dedicated to his ex-girlfriend, the singer "Levante", who also participated in the same Sanremo festival. The two singers have been engaged for about 2 years ........ gossip directly from Italy !!! :-D Ciao !!

You've said well about his surname by the way! ;-) (...but it's just a case though not a real nickname, his name is Antonio). Yep the song as meaning would like "to prevent incommunicability" as meaning, not only between romantic partners but more in general, among friends, families etc... Regarding the ESC performance I think it'll be very low-key, no fireworks or anything else (apart maybe a background band or like a couple of dancers who interpret the song as Diodato himself & an actress did in the videoclip too): but since originally Diodato studied cinema at college who knows if he'll decide to surprise us with something more! ;-)) Since you mentioned Gualazzi (great musician, I've to agree!

I can’t quite make up my mind about this one. I like it well enough but somehow it doesn’t fully grip me. He sings well, it’s pleasant enough... but I dunno. Despite some obvious musical strengths it’s still just ok for me. It should do well, though! Oh, and alone with piano would be my bet.

I love him and his song!💕 but i need you to listen/react to Andromeda by Elodie. She was a huge fan favorite and she came 7th. Mahmood and Dardust (same team behind Soldi) wrote and composed it!✨
@giovannimaiandi34554 жыл бұрын
A very nice song but Sanremo Festival is primarily a live festival where singers perform with a real orchestra and Elodie's performances did not live up to the song. She was often aut of tune. My teacher said she didn't study!

Giovanni Maiandi yeah i get that, but i still think it's one of the stand outs in terms of audios in this year's whole season:)
