Hey hey! Globally I'm roughly where you are with this. I'd move Denmark to Orange, Belgium to Green and mayyyybeeee downgrade Armenia to yellow and switch it with Greece - Marina Satti said the performance will be the camera following her face everywhere, so it's likely to be dynamic. I hear you on staging, but yea, I see Greece as green and Armenia as yellow. Of the yellows you do have, I'd consider moving georgia to orange (again, not about the song, but I worry about the performance and televote appeal). Much as I don't want to do this because I love Megara personally and want them to qualify, I think I'd swap them with Denmark. I think Denmark does have a path, if Saba nails the vocals. Last year it was a clear vocal miss from Denmark, so I'm hoping Saba rectifies that, and San Marino, I love the song, but I fear there's too much competition now in this semi for them. So I'd probably move them to Red. That all pains me to say. In an ideal world I want Switzerland, Estonia, Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Denmark and San Marino through. I can survive without the rest because I see how competitive this will be. But if pushed, my final three would be Greece, Austria and probably Armenia. But, let's see what happens. This semi is very very tough to call.

I agree globally with your prediction. But the ones I think can flop live and not make it would be Austria (after Lumix & Pia Maria that Zi loved but failed to translate the energy to the stage, as well as Poe Poe Poe... these stagings and executions did not deliver what we expected) I think there is a risk, more than for Greece which I kind of trust more. And maybe Estonia and Netherlands will offset each other and only one will go through. Which then gives room for the third category of your video and I soooooo hope it will be Megara!!!!

He does acknowledge that Israel will go to the final, indeed this is televote and you cannot vote negatively against an entry so boycott is largely ineffective in this context. So it is fair that the Balkan Guy acknowledges that Israel song will go to the final most probably. There is nothing bigotes here. Your predictions are very solid based on your reasoning. People need to realise that there are more factors at play than just the song itself, weirdly enough. Staging can be crucial, for example, etc., etc. It's a whole can of worms. The fact that Eurovision is at this point is because people love a spectacle and I think we have lost at least a bit of the authenticity it once had. I liked your predictions, but there are some things that also need to be pointed out. Not every televote friendly song will qualify, by this I mean Estonia and Armenia have lower chances of qualifying then what you said. Second not every ballad will be staying in the semi, just because it is a televote only semi final. Therefore countries like Albania, Denmark, Latvia and Belgium might have a better chance of qualifying in this "sea of televote-friendly songs". Israel might not qualify, because the song is not getting as much support as they have received in the past qualifying entries they had. All the israeli commenting in every single video are brainwashed kids who have nothing to do. Last time Israel qualified with a generic ballad was in 2016 and that was thanks to juries.

The only thing that could keep Israel out of the final is people not voting for the song because they do not want to support what their govornment is doing and i include myself in this box as well. I would feel ashamed and bad if i voted for Israel this year even though i personally have it as the winner song and would have supported it all the way if it was from any other country or their govornment was not doing what it is doing. Either way, i wouldnt count Israel out cuz after all its a song contest and shouldnt be connected to the current geopolitical status and with that being said, Israel is surely delivering this year
