Well most of the songs(mainly selected through national final) have already performed live , so unless they change it drastically, their fate is quite predictable....

In 2018, Alexander Rybak was one or THE favorite to win, he performed live in MGP, won his semi-final and.... finished 15 th in the Grand Final. Conan Osiris have performed live in 2019. He was one favorite in 2019 and he didn't qualified. In opposite, the Black Mamba were a Non-qualifier for SURE in 2021 and they qualified. Even after the semi-finals there are surprises like the 13 points for Senhit ft Florida or the 48 for Destiny, or the four 0 points.

Yessss, like almost since ever, with rare exceptions! We from romance countries, do love a lot our languages, they sound amazing... plus, it's the whole reason of Eurovision, to bring a song from your own country, in your native language, for a European song competition... My top 5 as an American watching for the first time, in order. 1. Alika(Estonia) 2. Australia 3. Belgium 4. Lithuania/Armenia and of course Cha Cha Cha was infectious but didn't make the Top 5. I tend to lean towards the artists that write their own lyrics/music. Just like i fell in love with Prince after watching Purple Rain as a joke. I watched this year after the Netflix comedy out of curiosity. Its so European, i cant help but love it. I don't consider myself an ugly American though, as the rest of the world is far more interesting than the US.

Honestly feel like a good half of the songs are potential winners and a majority will be songs will be remembered. Love to see a strong lineup but oh my it will be a bloodbath lol.
