The song is spectacular, probably top 3 this year with a big chance of winning. I will be rooting for it. BUT... no disrespect to the team behind the music video, especially to the scriptwriter, BUT.. this doesn't make any sense to the message, theme, or symbolism of the song. It should be synergistic when it comes to the relationship between the song and the music video. The msuic video should enhance the song. Unfortunately, it kind of does the complete opposite. I am sure they have their reasons (budget, timing, resources, etc...) and they definitely put in a lot of effort and work to get this product as it is over the line, but... this is not it.
