It’s true the song was never meant for Eurovision. It was meant to be the 3rd single off his album. He entered it after a friend said he should and the rest is history. He actually tried out as a guitarist a few years ago in a band but they didn’t get past the national finals.

I don't know, only numbers count. I find it very strange 32 juries gave 12 points to the same guy, so different from public votes. Countries need to discover who sits at their juries and what their agenda is.
