This song was 3rd in running order, and 192 televote-only points are impressive. I think that if she had been like 20th, she would've won. Malta still managed to snatch 2nd place with no neighbor votes, no gimmicks, just one voice and one talented woman!

+George Austin Tay if voting was 50/50 in 2005 she also probably would've won too, 03 has been quite a lucky slot in recent years actually! last year Israel were 9th, 2013 Moldova were 11th, Albania + Denmark were 5th in 2012+1 & France 8th in 2009.

Everyone is like "Cyprus, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey" NO it was also the UK, Sweden, Belgium and other countries that are not neighbours to Greece... Btw Greece and Turkey are considered "enemies" so they didn't vote for us because we're neighbours, they simply liked the song... Come on, Malta was great indeed, but not the proper song to win the contest... Everyone would forget it after two days... It's just a nice ballad... Our song on the other hand became a hit, everyone was dancing at it, even non-Greeks... And it was also very representative of our culture... I think it deserved to win!

No, it's because there are a lot of Greeks living on emigration in Sweden. They grabbed their phones and voted for their country.

Τι κομματάρα έστειλε εκείνη την χρονιά η Μάλτα και η φωνή της κιάρα αγγελική καταπληκτική ειδικά απο το λεπτό 2:18 στην κορύφωση του τραγουδιού έδειξε πόσο δυναμική φωνή έχει. Αλλα στάθηκε ατυχή γιατί βρήκε μπροστά της την Έλενα Παπαρίζου που έσκισε τότε.Πολύ καλή προσπάθεια της Μάλτα και μία απο τις πιο δυνατότερες συμμετοχές της στον διαγωνισμό(κατά την γνώμη μου η καλύτερη της συμμετοχή απο τότε που εμφανίστηκε στην Eurovision)

This should have been the winner that year. Amazing song and amazing vocals. The moment when this song was a candidate to represent Malta, I remember saying "this has winner vibes". Fast forward to Eurovision, she nearly did it. If she had been drawn later, and if we had the juries like we have now she'd have won. The Greek winner is also good, but this was miles better.
