Please tell me you did not just put Dana International's "Ding Dong" here instead of "Diva", the song she literally won with in an early year when the world wasn't nearly as open as it is today... That song is way more powerful and made a much bigger change in Eurovision's history, and deserves a place in this video way more than "Ding Dong".

Dana International ♥️🏳️‍⚧️ ofc Diva is the better song, but I get the whole EBU rights thing. It's still great to see an open transgender person on a big platform such as Eurovision. Fingers crossed there'll be more openly transgender people in the future!

Great selection of songs, my favourites of this video were (in no particular order): Norway 🇳🇴 2012 Italy 🇮🇹 + Netherlands 🇳🇱 + Norway 🇳🇴 + France 🇫🇷 + Iceland 🇮🇸 2019 Romania 🇷🇴 2022 UK 🇬🇧 2011 Ukraine 🇺🇦 2007 Italy 🇮🇹 2021 Germany 🇩🇪 2009 Finland 🇫🇮 2018 Iceland 🇮🇸 2008 This could have easily been hours long as there are just so many songs with LGBTQIA+ messaging in Eurovision but this is a great selection of songs nevertheless. This has cured definitely part of my Post Eurovision Depression! If you guys would do another one please include Ireland 🇮🇪 2018, Australia 🇦🇺 2022, Israel 🇮🇱 1998, Lithuania 🇱🇹 2015, Israel 🇮🇱 2022, Israel 🇮🇱 2017 and Denmark 🇩🇰 2022 (this one does not have explicit LGBT messaging but it just generally speaks to people who have been told what’s they can and can’t do in life, which is something that people in this community would get loads (I am not in the community, sorry if I am wrong)). Great video.

This really could have easily been 4 or 5 hours long, because there are fortunately af lot of LGBT+ representation and allies in Eurovision, so I'm not going to focus on songs I believe was "overlooked" here especially since it seems the up-tempo party feel has been important to most of what was chosen and a lot of others I can think of would have been ballads - BUT I will comment on the one VERY criminal choice between these songs... it is obvious whoever chose these remembers Dana International, so HOW did Ding Dong end up here instead of Diva? If it's a picture quality issue we would have survived. It's the song that started the more open support and visibility of LGBT in Eurovision and therefore most likely the most important song for this list. I was FULLY expecting it to be the closer.

EBU doesn't own the rights performances prior to 2004 afaik, so they'd have to seek rights from the original broadcaster, which is inconvenient, sadly.
