It's a bit complicated for me. This is such a great song. I listen to it many times a day. But their performance of the night didn't quite capture the emotion of it. I am currently training myself to like all the songs from Eurovision 2022 by listening to them on repeat. This comes in 4 stages: 1. Tolerance 2. Familiarity (recognising the song when it comes on) 3. Knowing the melody (recognising the song even without it being on) 4. Liking the song When I learn to appreciate and enjoy all the music from Eurovision 2022 only then can I even begin to look forward to Eurovision 2023. When I finish listening to the last song on there and liking it, I'm gonna rewatch the whole Eurovision 2022 again and actually see it for what it is. A beautiful masterpiece filled with songs from beautiful talented artists.

It was off just about half the time, very unfortunate that their worst performance was on the night of the finale. I'm pretty sure that the problem was technical, that they couldn't hear eachother and themselves in many parts of the song through their earpieces and just had to wing it(rarely works, you're going to go off pitch a lot if you can't hear yourself over the music). Towards the end when it's stripped down and almost acapella they sound fine. It's easy to forget as a television viewer how insanely loud a live performance like this is.

Not sure what happened but Blanco had a concert few days prior the event and throughout the entire weekend they both said they were really anxious about the performance (if you listen to the rehearsal they sounded worse). They probably were really tired (they both have been touring). Tbh I would be anxious too, listen to that crowd... insane
