I did still get nightmares of her in my twenties, so I hope it doesn't return now ten years later. Although back then in my last nightmare of her, we saved a person she was trying to catch... 😶‍🌫

He is very nice. He knows how hard life can be as he had a very difficult bowel condition. He was very ill for a year and lost a lot of weight. Finally the removal of his large intestine saved his life.

I agree! I saw the video thumbnail immediately when the video premiered, but I was a bit nervous clicking on it, thinking his English would be... not good. BUT! I was extremely pleasantly surprised! Jere has come a loooong way since the first awkward interviews in English. Much love! 💚

I think it is refreshing to have someone who isn’t that good at languages and English. Finns can speak English,but many do have a heavy accent and limited vocabulary. I write in English every day, and read too, but my accent is heavy too since I don’t speak it often. I just think it is sympathetic ans encouraging people to not be ashamed of their level of learning or accents.

As an English person it's funny to see what high standards everyone else has. He's not so good with grammar but he can hold a conversation. Most English people could barely order food in another language so to me he's doing great 😭

@@JadedKate It makes me feel better that I got it because it probably demonstrates that one can later improve the mediocre or lower language skills achieved at the high school and even get the best available grades at the university while studying English as a minor subject. It would've been weird if I spoke English with a Canadian -ish accent (not a particularly Finnish accent, that is), but I still wouldn't have been able to express myself properly. I guess that if you can understand the nuances of humour, you can master that language pretty well. But there's always room for an improvement. 🤗

I just love this. I’m so grateful to Eurovision for introducing me to this guy. Massive respect to him for being able to do this in English as well. Must be so intimidating. Also I know this is not really the point of these videos but I’m so glad people outside the UK are getting to see Clara Amfo. She is one of our finest broadcasters and equally I think it takes real talent to make sure the interview is clear for him to understand whilst also including him in our weird British sense of humour without him ending up the butt of the joke as so often happens. Bringing us all together is the most beautiful thing about Eurovision and we all need more of that.

I heard an interview Käärijä did early this year with a radio sportscast guy (his friend) where they discussed him seeing this live Rammstein concert on TV or video, I think (aged eight years old!) and he became an instant fan ... hence his Rammstein tattoo over his heart. When he recommended that Clara go and find it on KZbin, I guessed it might be the one including the 'incident' they'd discussed with some humour in the interview. I just went and watched it ... yup! 😂😂😂
