But think of it this way -- if I live in a country in Scandinavia then I will like Scandinavian things from Scandinavian countries so my voting will be biased that way. When the UK won in 1997 with "Love Shine A Light." we took advantage of the Irish success formula that dominate in that era (many other countries tried this as well) and did our own version and won (the most successful ever.)

Overwhelmed by all these comments. When I was first approached by the BBC I was hesitant about Eurovision because I thought my song would be a bit too risky for them or it wouldn't be their kind of thing. I'm so relieved I took this opportunity. I would also like to say we have changed a few things. I can't tell you everything because I don't want to ruin surprises. As one of the backing vocalists has lost their voice they have on their own account decided to drop out. Please don't fear as we have a lot of tricks up our sleeve. One change we think you'll be happy to know is we've got BradTheLadLong flown in all the way from America to come sing a few verses with me! I think what makes Eurovision unique is that the way a song gains the most amount of votes is not necessarily dependent on whether or not it is liked by its own country, but by the other countries it surrounds. I'm getting the feeling that there's a slightly bigger liking to this song from outside the UK, which is a good sign for success come May 10th.

BetH Harding meh. We don't have the quality that's some countries are putting up this year. This is an amazing track. Had a listen to the Swedish entry there too, also a superb song (melody lines that are exactly the same as wrecking ball ;) If that wasn't intentional then it's a bit of a fluke). Malta's country track is also great to listen to. Not sure why people are saying this year is weak. I'm really enjoying the content so far.

Yeah, I really liked UK song. It's just a music style, that I like. But do you know, that if jury did not vote, Eurovision top 5 and rest would be completely different? For example Poland would be 5th, not 14th (in Great Britain it was number 1, but they gave 1 point). Idk how with UK, maybe it's something similar.

The song is excellent with various different types of music blended together to make a music master piece, that along with Molly's incredible vocal range. The drummer is out of this world and for once the backing singers are just as fantastic. I do think it will finish high but is it a winner ? Not so sure, but then when we get to the Bridge at 2.00, I get goosebumps and not many songs do that to me. For that alone, this could 100% win. Europe seem to be behind the UK and backing us to win, which is amazing. BBC, please get the promotion right, Molly deserves this at least.

This is probably the UK's best entry for a few years and it's good to have a singer who can actually sing, who has confidence and who doesn't need a zimmerframe on stage. Again, that hasn't happened for quite a few years. That said, it's not likely to grab people the way a Eurovision song needs to. Mid table finish at best. It's obvious the BBC couldn't care less about Eurovision.

I think it will come down to a straight knock out battle between The United Kingdom vs Armenia - I have a feeling the UK could actually clinch it, the song is gaining momentum throughout Europe and has been the song that has gained the best feedback from critics! How amazing is it she got last slot to sing! (26th) Usually it's an iffy hit or miss with that last slot, but because Molly's children of the universe is probably the best anthemic song this year it's carefully placed after soft Netherlands and dreadful San Marino so it's going to be amazing watching her end the show and hopefully have Europe singing power to the people whilst voting haha GO MOLLY!!!

Molly's song perfectly represents the UK. Edgy, gritty, contemporary with a social message. Who cares if you don't know 'Molly', the song has message that can easily be understood by people all over Europe. With the terrible turmoil in the Ukraine there will be many countries where "power to the people" will resonate. This song is perfect for 2014. Is the new version of "love shine a light". Molly is not pretentious or overwhelming, she comes across as individual and 'one of us'. I think she will do well, if not win Eurovision. In 2015, we will be at the O2 and Molly will be a star.
