Gotta say, this is probably the best flag parade I’ve ever seen. The music was perfect, so many acts really hit the beat when their country was announced (Sweden and Ireland in particular), it really kicked off the rest of the night so well without being drawn out and it never felt too long, which it sometimes has a tendency to.

As far as I know the thing was: The Dutch guy didn't want to be filmed after the performance and the camera operator kept trying to. The Dutch guy said or did something. The punishment was considered too much by some people and by that I mean, the public, the dutch broadcaster etc, he was one of the favorites to win.

Not only that, but their behaviour was so bad it even warranted a police report and investigation. For that reason, they were disqualified. 2) The Israeli delegation lived up to the EBU code of conduct, and therefore got to stay. There you go sweetheart, explanation delivered. And now you are pulling breath to say: "But I liked the Dutch entry, and I dislike Israel as a nation!" Yeah, well... tough.

Maybe Iolanda should paint their nails, with on each finger a mini portrait of the 19 year old girls who were beaten and stolen on 7/10, while Hamas said on camera: 'Beautiful. These are good to make pregnant".... The one thing I like about this year's flag parade is the artists are front and center when they are called unlike in the past they parade in the side of the stage or they do not go far front of the stage. Other than that I find this year underwhelming, compared to last year. No past winners performing (2019 and 2023), or some back up dancers (2014, 2021 and 2022).

It was a pretty disappointing flag parade TBH. We've had some very original and creative parades over the last few years (2016 and 2019 come to mind as especially unique) and this one looks like they did the bare minimum. Great energy from the crowd and all participants, though.
