Hi Senan, thank you for the great introductory video and I am looking forward to seeing more of your experiences with the E Partner. The solar pv array and battery setup is very impressive. Your explanation of how the array and the grid interact was far more helpful than most of the information pieces I've read from official sources. We have a BEV and a plug-in, but I don't think we'd recoup the outlay on solar/battery in our lifetime 😀 Enjoyed your previous series on European travel in the Leaf. Keep up the good work, David.

Our system cost just over €13,500 and we got €3000 SEAI grant in October 2021 when we did it. Because we work at home during the week and the vehicles are sitting there most days we’ll pay it off from our bill savings very quickly. It might be a thing for workplaces to get them and provide charging to employees who are in for the day. Everybody’s use case is different. A comibination of making a few bob selling to the grid during the day and buying back cheap electricity at night for the car might work for some households.

@@VantagePointVideoGarage Senan, thanks for your reply. I was working off figures like 10k for solar pv and a further 10k for battery storage.
