If you want to increase mileage maintain proper rpm.. follow gear shift indicator.. avoid using harsh brakes at that time not necessary... if you follow this, in city also your mileage will be good.. and also during long travel if you maintain same speed 110kmph for long time without much variation, then the mileage will be same as you ride as 80kmph..

You cannot calculate mileage (actually it should be kilowage, right?😁) accurately and we should not expect what manufacturer is quoting. The practical scenario is entirely different. When I am travelling from Bangalore to Madurai, I am getting 12.8 on my punto, while returning from Madurai to Bangalore it is approx 10. In my case the altitude matters.! The roads may slopy here and there, that we cannot realize. When a road is inclined, even if you are trying to maintain the RPM that won't give expected mileage and N number of bridges are there on the way...! Again saying, manufacturer numbers are not practical, they are marketing gimmicks, simply forget about that.! From trip to trip the mileage will differ in practical.
