EVA Air BR31 - New York to Taipei - Boeing 777-300ER in PREMIUM ECONOMY (Trip Reports Episode 3)

I have flown EVA Air to Taiwan 2 round trips. These were Premium Economy. My first to Taipei was a delightful experience. Great service. I could not say the same coming back and of my last round trip. Service and attention went down more than 50%. In my last trip from Taipei to JFK not even an amenity kit. Please do the best to keep the same level of service and experience.

Thanks for the great detailed trip with EVA premium economy. Next month we fly with EVA to Bangkok from Amsterdam. how is the wifi connexion? is it worth buying or skip it? I see still many people wearing face mask is that still an policy to wear them?

Wi-Fi was a little spotty, but it was because our flight took a more northerly route skimming the arctic circle so the service was limited. Since you're flying to Bangkok, maybe you'll have better luck with Wi-Fi but just to be safe, go for the Standard Plan with 100MB of data. Many people were wearing masks, but it was not mandatory.

i will be flying eva air this coming august.. is mask still required during the flight..? cause i am not comfortable wearing mask at all..

On my EVA Air flight in April LAX-TPE they required a mask. It wasn't that big of a deal, just a mask. Did they require it on yours?

Nope, masks were not required, although quite a number of passengers still had masks on.
