Just watched the movie, Eva Marcille is very much invested in this role and her depiction of domestic abuse reality is so relatable. Good interview about Surviving Domestic Abuse. The Interviewer engaged well with Eva. This is a rarity today to watch a really good discussion on domestic violence and Eva's work history in film..

I can’t believe some of the events cause who wouldn’t have thought to call the & law first. I hate how so unrealistic they make movies today so aggravating. They may have happened in this order but it’s so hard to believe that some scenes are just so unreal. You buried, found a dead man, child kidnapped, sister slapped & child kidnapped & no police called. New writers please 🙏🏽 & thank you 🙏🏽

I feel like the movie was rushed we needed a back story a flashback sequence something, and there should've been more scenes with coca
