Eva Mendes is opening about motherhood! The actress stopped by the new Access Daily to dish about raising her and Ryan Gosling's two daughters. Eva shares why she is "so thankful" to have the opportunity to make her kiddos her main priority, even when it can get a bit "maddening." When you're under a microscope & have a ton of $$$, it's easy to fall into a black hole of insecurity. Ultimately succumbing to surgical procedures to "enhance" your appearance. That's why it's so rare to find a celebrity, esp a particularly gorgeous one, who hasn't had SOMETHING done. Even though the public is not entitled @ all to know what she does with her face/body. I think it's 🤏 ok to be curious, but in an extremely polite way. If you're gonna ask, ask w/ genuine concern & kindness. You can ask w/o insulting. Ppl can ask w/o the intent to further inflict damage. W/o the intent to add onto the pile of mental, physical, & emotional anguish. Ppl aren't genuinely trying to figure out what's led her to altering her appearance. They just attack. If they are genuinely concerned, why break her down even further w/ cruelty? Further pushing her into her struggle w/ her insecurity? Then what happens? As a result she goes & gets MORE done to fix what society is brutally claiming is so physically "wrong" w/ her. Ultimately leading to scenarios like what happened w/ Demi Lovato. She got so caught up in trying to obtain this perfect image it crippled her emtionally, mentally, physically. This lead to her fighting the disease, bulemia. Which then spiralled into drug use. And then an overdose, she literally almost died. You can be curious w/o being damaging, hurtful, & cruel. At the end of the day she can do whatever she wants to her body. But as fellow human being we should be helping her fight her insecurity, not just adding fuel to the destructive fire. And that's not just w/ her, or celebrities, that's with anybody! ❤
