I know this video is old, but I can’t tell you how valuable it was. I really struggle to find perfume reviewers that lean woody, not-floral (with the exception of rose), unisex, and maybe a little fruity or smoky. I found your review looking for Gaiac 10 reviews, but I can’t wait to watch your other videos because I love your taste!

Worn Molecule 01 since 2008. Still come back to it now. Have loved niche perfumes since early 2000 so definitely Know and love the brands you mention. Just wondering if you’ve come across Mark Buxton? Very unique fragrances? The names are cool too like Devil In Disguise and Sexual Healing.

My signature scent for years was Chanel's Bois des Iles, and, it's still around, a total classic. However, once I discovered Le Labo, there was no turning back. My signature scent is Le Labo Gaiac 10. I absolutely adore that fragrance, and that's an understatement. My second favorite is Le Labo's Rose 31, followed by Another 13. For those unfamiliar with Le Labo, the numbers next to the name indicate the number of ingredients in the perfume . Perfume is so personal, and really hard to recommend, so I always suggest buying decants first since we all like different scents, and also , they smell different on people depending on your body chemistry. I learned the hard way over the years by buying a fragrance everybody was raving about, and it was very pricey, and once I opened the bottle, sprayed it, I absolutely hated the scent. So, a lesson learned. I tend to find my comfort zone and stay within that zone if I can find fragrances that really speak to me, rather then trying all these new trends in perfume. I do have a very reliable company that I buy my scents from, especially Gaiac 10, so I don't have to wait until September every year due to the fact the City Exclusives can only be purchased that particular month. I'm in the states, but the company I've been using is called Fragrancesline.com and they do ship overseas and I highly recommend them. If you find a seller for niche fragrances that you can truly trust, that's half the battle. There are just too many ''fake" fragrances out there these days. Actually, the company I suggested was the company that introduced me to Gaiac 10 , and I am forever grateful for their suggestion, otherwise I would probably have gone through my life never smelling that gorgeous fragrance.

Hi Eva. I noticed last week that a Le Labo store has opened in Edinburgh ! I went in and the SA was asking if I knew anything about the brand which I did courtesy of you. I came away with two small samples £4 each which I thought was fine to try out. Santal 33 and Neroli for when Im in my sunnier clime ! Also bought Byredo bal D’afrique earlier in the year. I usually wear Hermes Voyage which I still love.

My all year signature scent where my friends always tell me that this is my smell is Teint de neige by lorenzo villoresi I also use a lot of Labdanum 18 of Le labo. I love smokey with sophisticated powdery scents with some amber in it. try the ones i mentioned you an Allan, and tell me what you think. I always spritz my perfume ONCE right between my tummy and below my bra (after I turned around 24-25, now 30), sometimes layering two together, sometimes a men’s and woman’s, unisex, a variety (which I only started doing 4 years back), and it slowly ‘oozes’ up during the day, and can only be smelled if someone’s just around me, with a light whiff, the ‘strength’ of it depending on which perfume(s) I’m wearing🙂 - Update: I also, in mid November, decided to purchase the Gypsy Water in roll-on perfume oil form, because the bottles are expensive AS HELL😳, there’s so much juice in it’s 7.5ml roll-on, that, even if it’s in perfume oil, the content will last for like ages, because you don’t need more than one or two rolls, and the roll ball itself is small but manages to roll on a perfect amount👌🏻 But obviously skin chemistry when it comes to scent-wise and longevity/sillage varies completely from person to person
