i love how you "feel" your wet hair into the cut ... very rogue without a mirror ... I have a short scissor and boy you sure made it a lot easier to start off with such long blades. My first assignment today will be to find a pair for me. Since growing out grey and Covid I have been cutting my own hair, I thought what the heck I am always RE-cutting my hair after my hairdresser didn't quite get it right, so I learned to totally hair care me and am delighted. The best diy chair cut tutorial! So many better tips over other diy videos, use of conditioner to keep hair wet longer, the way you thin out the under layer for the lower back, how you systematically thin the hair section by section to ensure evenness and the different techniques for thinning hair. I tried it, the best diy I’ve ever done. Thinning hides my flaws much better than layering in the back. Thank you!!!

I can't believe how well you can reach around the back and sides of your head and the bottom of your neck. I've had rotary cuff surgery and lost my left arm to reach around the back of my head!! Damn. I wish I had the cajones to do this. I used to cut my hair a lot during lockdown but now I've lost my nerve. I have a long ponytail I want to cut off; I used to do it all the time. Lol I went to a hairdresser, got a zero blunt, no texturing, no leveling, one side longer. Not short enough. I explained how I wanted it, didn't get it anything close. Paid. Went home, cut it myself ....I'm a hairdresser!
