"Weekend product... weekend experience... team model"... the church is not a business! Success is defined by faithfulness, not pragmatism. How faithfully the pastor is preaching what the Word of God says (regardless of the response), by faithfulness of the people of God to praying together in utter dependence on God (not on evaluating or tweaking or blaming the slide transitions on the new guy), by submitting to His Word and placing beliefs, decisions, and ehaviours under that authority (not on how well people are engaging with a Ted talk), by hearing the voices of the Saints singing praises to God (not on how well the professional band performed), by corporate and personal confession of sin and receiving the grace for us found in Christ (not on emotionally driven self help). You are protmoting the false ideology of pragmatism that has overtaken much of the church in North America to its own destruction.
