You are doing good adventure, but road clearance is required by the snow cutter or other BRO vehicles.Only big Army truck vehicles can survive without snow clearance. These 4X4 vehicles could not be used to open roads. Travelling without road opening could land you struck for days.Some times snow can be 5 feet. These vehicles could not be used for road opening.Due to my father's posting I have spent my 3 years in dalhousie for 3 years during my school days and is well aware of road opening by BRO, MES big snow cutters etc.

Would having winter tyres with snow chains have helped instead of having all terrain tyres with snow chains? ( When I say winter tyres, I'm talking about the type that can only run at up to a maximum temperature of 10°C, usually lower than that.)
