Mac Jones is another product of having the best players around him no Bass QB has ever had a good career even Tua looks very weak now when he has to play with equal talent lol they trading Tua after 1 year

Mac Jones - almost never looks past his first read Tua Tagovailoa - struggled mightily. Jalen Hurts - not good Jake Coker - terrible Blake Sims - terrible AJ McCarron - terrible Greg McElroy - terrible John Parker Wilson - terrible When will teams stop wasting draft picks on Bama QBs? When you are behind an NFL OL and have all day to throw to NFL WRs or hand off to NFL RBs, you do not have to be a great QB.

never looks past his first read? are you serious? have you ever watched him play? he’s the best at going through his progressions in the draft, and that includes Trevor Lawrence. Everyone in the draft states down WRs except Mac Jones, plus he’s one of the few that knows how to read defenses. Tua struggled because of talent around him in the NFL, Jalen Hurts did great for his first few starts, and everyone before that wasn’t good at all. The best QB that Bama had before the guys I named was Aj McCaron. Everyone knew that the other guys were game managers, they just allowed guys like Derrick Henry, Mark Ingram, TJ Yeldon, Trent Richardson, Josh Jacobs, and Eddie Lacy to just carry them.

Sometimes repeating stuff you read on the internet because it sounded good comes back to bite you and makes you look foolish. This would be a prime example. It’s clear to anyone who watched Bama play this year that you obviously didn’t. Lol. Especially in the second half of the NCG, when he didn’t have Smith, you can clearly see him going through his progressions on every play and pushing the ball down the field.

Also, Tua is going to be great. He got thrown in as a starter mid-season coming off a major injury to end his college career and with only 1/3 of the normal pre-season training time because of covid, and yet he still showed enough in practice that the coaches made that decision. Everyone can see he’s going to be elite. Jalen Hurts isn’t a real QB and everyone has known that all along. The fact he started as long as he did was because the team was good enough to win in spite of him. Once they had no choice but to throw the ball in order to win, he was benched and ultimately transferred.

@@magnificent7083 Almost never did. He is accurate, but anyone who says that he has shown high level QB traits is a liar. He did not have to.
