It’s Nov 2024, and Spotify it’s getting ready to wrap up the year in music for me. “Salvation”, the album 💿, has been on repeat my whole 2024. I had to analyze the lyrics with ChatGPT to find out why I’m so drawn to it. It captures perfectly my lived experiences of 2022 and 2023 in NYC. I’m baffled as to how this album didn’t reach many people, myself included, in its 2018 release. This is a masterpiece. And if you listed to it before playing Billie’s “hit me song and hard” they will sound as complementing albums musically and lyrically.
