I'm starting to believe that the show writers don't think too much when they have to hurt a character... Buck and T.K, you know ?

See from a story pov and me just really liking angst filled plotlines...I don't mind hurting the characters. HOWEVER what I DON'T like is when they don't show the characters working through their trauma. Like they didn't show Buck going through physical therapy after the truck bombing. They didn't really show the after effects of the tsunami, and now they aren't going to show either Eddie or Buck having PTSD/going through physical therapy from Eddie being shot. Even stuff with TK (which I don't really follow Lonestar as closely as the OG show). They just breeze past these things when it could really help develop the characters.

Oh and I forgot to say I really hope that Maddie has a couple of episodes dedicated to talking about her postpartum depression. Like I hope it's not just left at the fact that she told Chimney that she needs help and then she's just magically okay with being a mom. Sorry didn't mean to rant....but while I'm here...might as well say that if anyone WANTS to talk about the show during the break...I'm all ears. Either on my twitter or here in the comments.

​@Maz Meyer OMG yessss I totally agree! Like wtf was that scene with the two on the bench????? Like Buck being the amazing guy he is - went and said that he's happy that Abby's happy with...I think his name was Sam (lmao) - ....and then it was just dead. silence. Smh I just don't understand how she couldn't even be bothered to just say SOMETHING nice to him!!!!!

@Maz Meyer I know I wish we had gotten at least a scene of Buck being nervous about the water or like Buck talking to Christopher about not being afraid to go to the beach.

@Maz Meyer Also it might just be my opinion....but I sorta feel like the whole lawsuit thing was just a little bit too ooc for Buck. Like yes I know how much firefighting meant/still means to him and I know he would risk everything to BE a firefighter. However, it all just seemed soooo rushed. Like yes Buck tends to make rash decisions, but everything was just all happening at once. We had Shannon's death, the truck bombing, Buck breaking up with Ali/his physical therapy (both of which we didn't get to see), him coughing up blood, the Tsunami, and then all of sudden Buck is just suing the department. I just feel like he would've at least have talked to Eddie and told him what Bobby did and Eddie could have #1) talked him out of the lawsuit and #2) told him that Christopher was struggling with nightmares.. And Eddie also would've most likely not have turned to street fighting if they had just talked to eachother.
